Last week , France 24 broadcasted a reportage touch on theecological horticulture in Almería , Spain . The final conclusion was that this glasshouse gardening is far from sustainable , since the generated credit card balance end up in the environment . The organisation of produce companies APROA has protest against this disconfirming range of a function , debate that the recycling of charge card is far better organised in gardening in Almería than in most other sectors .

70 - 80 % of shaping waste recycledRecently , APROA have carry out a study , measure the volume of charge card residues that are generated in Almería every year . The major part comes from the greenhouse covers which are replaced , on median , every four years .
" Growers receive 10 cents per Kg for this old plastic , since it is very valuable for recycling , as a high bulk and homogenous balance . Other class of charge plate residual , like cans and other package , are also well recycled . Altogether , it is estimated that between 70 and 80 % of the charge card is recycled , i.e. converted into a granulate that can be used for the production of novel charge card product . This is far higher than the percentage of recycling of urban , domesticated residue " , they excuse .
" Some plastics from agriculture are more problematic to recycle , like the fine films used for mulching . These are usually process together with the municipal residue , i.e. the household garbage , in plant where DOE is generated through incineration . "
Illegal dumping … “The sector in Almería is altogether aware of the absolute need to recycle for be able to survive in long terms . An tremendous progress has been made over the last 10 , although the place still has to improve " , they carry on .
