When think of Iran , business burdens might get easier to your mind than business opportunities . However according to Dick van Raamsdonk there are many chance . Last week the Iran Green Trade Fair ( IGTF ) was organised . " It was the best variant of all former shows so far . We receive professional from all over Iran . There are many opportunities here for horticultural company and we hope international suppliers will see these as well . "
According to Dick , in Iran and in surround res publica there is a huge requirement for horticultural ware and know - how . Last week the IGTF was chaffer very well , with many buses filled with grower stopping at the show and a vivid air as a solvent . Dick explains how horticulture is an important diligence in Iran and how the Persian authorities plan to bring the diligence to the next level by adding 50,000 ha of glasshouse . " And in the country there is enough money uncommitted to do so . "
However there are challenge for the market . In full , 115 companies demo at the IGTF . These were principally Iranian : various international exhibitioner are holding back their Iranian activities because of the sanctions and banking rule . According to Dick , that ’s a pity to both the Iran industry as well as these suppliers . " Horticultural products are no part of the US imprimatur so delivering and building should not be an issue . Therefor it seems as if some suppliers are exaggerating their response and believe to not do business concern with the US at all any more . Let ’s confront it : the US itself exported criminal record numbers of produce to Iran last year ! "
He refers to the International Food and Tech show , which will be organise in May . " Italy , Germany and many other countries will be present with a pavillion - but Netherlands , the turn 1 food exporter , is missing . It seems like the Dutchies are overreacting a routine . "
