Garden hitch season carry on this weekend — I’ll be give ear theTangletown Garden Tour , which is a favorite among Twin Cities gardeners — but I ’m still screen out through all the ideas from the other tour I have been on . Here are three more garden spell theme worth stealing .
DIY Plant Cages
Why bribe cloche and other cages to cover plant that rabbits and other nibble vulture like when you’re able to make your own ? These cage were fashioned ( and betray ) by theHennepin County Master Gardenersduring their tour two weeks ago . The master gardeners used chicken telegram and a loop at the bottom to form a round cage . The butterfly clip at the top is a precious decoration and makes the cage look like garden prowess rather than rabbit barrier .

Sun-loving plants are the perfect solution to a hot slope.
Hose in a wad
I ’m not sure if the gardener who used this blue container to hold a blue hose buy the unit or made it , but it ’s a great idea . Hoses are a garden of the essence , but often they are messy and easy to just leave laying around the yard for people to trip over . ( Ahem , speak about myself there . ) There is a hollow in the bottom of the container that the hosepipe move through to connect with the water spigot . The bulk of the hosepipe is roll up in the pretty pot when it ’s not in utilization . The pot looks like garden decoration and adds a bright spot to the yard .
Plant a Hot Slope

This long gradient garden was part of theMen ’s and Women ’s Garden Club of Minneapolisgarden duty tour last weekend . The nurseryman ’s home base look a interfering road and this long , west - face up slope was institute with Lord’s Day - loving perennials . In former summer , it would be lustrous with paeony and sword lily . In July , dark - eyed Susans provide a pa of chickenhearted . In late summer , grasses and sedums would raise the space , which is back up with Lord’s Day - get laid bush ( ninebark , I think ) . What a great alternative to turf sess for pollinators and the gardener ! Also , the garden add an attractive element to the route .
Hang Some Aprons
This is n’t a virtual garden thought , but these antique forestage were part of theTracy Area Garden Partya couple of week ago . They are from a accumulation of antique aprons and added a whimsical signature to the garden where they were displayed . The aprons were very pretty and all hand sewn .

I wonder what thought I ’ll come across during this weekend ’s tour ?
